🌮🧀 Cheesy Taco Pasta Skillet Recipe

Ingredients

250g pasta (shells or macaroni work great)

250g ground chicken or beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade)

1 ½ cups tomato sauce (or crushed tomatoes)

1 cup water
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
½ cup mozzarella (optional for extra cheesiness)

2 tbsp oil
-
Salt to taste

Fresh coriander or spring onion for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta

Boil the pasta according to package directions.

Drain and keep aside.
2. Cook the meat

Heat oil in a skillet.

Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.

Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.

Add ground chicken/beef and cook until browned.
3. Add taco flavor

Sprinkle taco seasoning over the meat.

Mix well for 1 minute.
4. Make the sauce

Pour in tomato sauce and water.

Mix and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
5. Combine pasta

Add the cooked pasta into the skillet.

Stir gently until everything is coated in the sauce.
6. Add cheese

Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella on top.

Cover and let it melt for 2–3 minutes.

Stir once to make it creamy.
7. Serve

Garnish with coriander or spring onion.
