Quick Blueberry Pancakes



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 cup of fresh blueberries

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl
  • Non-stick skillet
  • Spatula

  • Whisk

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the fresh blueberries, being careful not to over-mix the batter.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup or additional blueberries, if desired.
